Lilac season is all but over here in the Pacific NW. But the fragrance lingers (if only in my mind). Hubby and I took a trip to the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens in Woodland Washington to take in the beauty of these abundant blooms.

At every turn there were more surprises- more color, different aromas. My senses were heightened (to say the least).

If you have never been to a lilac garden and don't mind the fragrant overload, I highly recommend it- you will be delighted. I know I was thrilled.

Yes, these are real folks- aren't they just gorgeous?

my all time favorite- Sensation

  1. The white lilac must be the Madame Lemoine with its double blossoms. Amazing what the woman was capable of. I like Sensation very much.
